Privacy
You can use every page without telling us who you are. We don't sell your personal data or share it with data brokers, and we collect only what it takes to run the site.

Who we are
Radon Compass (radoncompass.com) is run by the Radon Compass team in Norway. We are responsible for the personal data described here. Write to privacy@radoncompass.com with any question or request. Because we're based in Norway, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to everything we handle, wherever you live.
What we collect
- Server logs. Our host, Vercel, records each request to the site: your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time. We use these logs only to deliver pages, keep the site secure and fix errors, which is our legitimate interest under the GDPR. Vercel keeps them for a limited time; we don't use them to identify you.
- Searches and test results. What you type in the search box or the result checker is handled in your own browser and isn't sent to us.
- No cookies or trackers. We don't set cookies or use analytics, advertising or social media trackers. Fonts and code load from our own domain, so no other company learns about your visit.
What we never do
- Sell personal data, or give it to data brokers.
- Ask you to create an account to use the site.
- Pass your details to anyone without your clear consent, except where the law requires it.
Companies that handle data for us
Vercel Inc. hosts the site and processes the server logs on our behalf, in the United States and other countries. Transfers outside the EEA are covered by Vercel's data processing agreement and its safeguards for international transfers.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, object to our use of it, or receive a copy. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to privacy@radoncompass.com; we answer within one month. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) or the data protection authority where you live.
If you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law, such as California, you have the right to know what we collect, to have it deleted or corrected, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We don't sell or share personal information; see Do not sell or share my personal information. We won't treat you differently for using any of these rights.
Children
The site is meant for adults, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
Changes
We update this page before we start collecting anything new, and change the date at the top when we do.
